A couple of shoppers hunting for toilet paper during the 2020 pandemic: Pandemic Shopping.
The 2020 pandemic (amongst all the other existential worries) forced people to go on an almost desperate search for toilet paper… this is a slightly humorous depiction of that quest. I used the two figures on the left in a previous project. With some minor modifications, the two remaining figures on the right would be
I added two builds from a few years ago. The 1/144 scale Convair NEV and a 1/35 scale Coleopter (mostly 3D printed).

I like VTOL aircraft and was inspired to build a Coleopter after seeing this image: The prop shroud/circular wing would be pretty easy to design and print on my 3D FDM printer, but I wouldn’t be able to reproduce the clear cockpit without considerable effort. I would have to print a blank for the forward
This is my build of the Moebius 1/144 Convair NEV (Nuclear Exploratory Vehicle). While it looks like the old Strombecker kit of the same, it’s not – this is a completely new mold. This is a pretty simple kit to build with thick pins and attachment points that almost make it a snap-tite kit. It’s
I added two new builds, both in 1/35 scale. Albert Robida inspired flyer (Scratch built) and Master Box’s “Gentleman Jim Jameson – Hired Gun”.

Albert Robida was an accomplished French illustrator and writer from the late 1800s. His illustrations about technology in the 20th century were both whimsical and evocative. I changed the gallery viewing software and added by build of the Thunder Models 1/35 scale VAI Case tractor, my 3D printed 1/72 scale MOL re-entry vehicle from the Hawk MOL kit and the HobbyBoss 1/35 scale T-18/MS-1 tank.

I’ve always liked early Soviet tanks. The T-18/MS-1 was the first Soviet tank and was based on the Renault FT from WWI. There’s an old 1/35 scale AER/Eastern Express kit of this tank, but the thick parts and poor fit make it almost unbuildable; I ended up using it as a source of spare parts
